We are a community-based organization focused on helping make the world around us a better, happier place. Following the in the footsteps of our three Most Honorable Founders, we follow our fraternity's motto "Culture for Service, Service for Humanity".
We are a diverse group a educated men who look to serve the people of the city of Boston and the surrounding communities, and work to make a tangible positive contribution in the lives of others. We want to use our time, treasure, and talents to give back so the next generation can have a better and brighter Boston.
The Brothers of Phi Beta Sigma are the Fraternity’s most valuable resource and strength. We are the primary means by which Phi Beta Sigma's objectives will be achieved. In order to accomplish the Fraternity’s objectives, it is essential that systems are instituted that effectively promote Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service.
It is my distinct pleasure to welcome you to the digital home for the Omicron Chi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Incorporated. My name is Frank Larmond and I am blessed to be able to serve this chapter as its President.
At Howard University on January 9, 1914 three dynamic collegiate men saw fit for an organization with higher ideals of Brotherhood, Scholarship and Service to be born.
This executive board of elected and appointed officers is ready to address the many challenges that we face in our community in which we live, work and play. There are many organizations and individuals that rely on the men of Sigma to be a force in the City of Boston and we believe that it is the responsibility of every Sigma Man to rise to the challenge and answer the call to not just lead and dictate but more importantly to serve.
We believe in the power of mentorship and boasts one of the most active and engaged Sigma Beta Clubs in our region, our mentoring arm of the fraternity. We believe that it is important for the youth to see and to be able to interact with positive male role models, through our Sigma Beta Club and our I AM MY BROTHERS KEEPER initiative, Phi Beta Sigma is grooming the servant leaders of tomorrow.
Yours in Service,
Brother Frank Larmond
